Allow to cool before washing. Avoid abrasive or harsh detergent. Food residue and stains can be removed with a sponge or nylon scrubbing pad. Overheating of stainless steel cookware can cause blue or auburn discolouration. This has no influence on the cookware's feature and can easily be removed with a good detergent (stainless steel polisher), such as BergHOFF's detergent for stainless steel.
